Suit yourself, but don't knock it until you have tried it. I would rather not pay the Michelin Man $60 for a tube and flap.I have had the General tubes mounted on my M37 for over 5 years and several thousand miles with no flats, in addition to my Power Wagon and other vehicles with split rims and combat wheels. Remember, the 15" or 16" diameter is measured at the bead, when you air it up the tube expands to take up the rest of the space between the tire casing and the wheel or flap.
