It may have been kept inside for years, but it's been outside for quite a spell too. This guy tried to sell this truck in Hemmings ($20K), and later to a guy in Ft. Collins,CO. for $10.5. Told me he had a "Chrysler engineer" on the hook for $10K, who was going to scrap the fire body and do a frame-off resto! What a crock! Its got serious rust on running board brackets, front and rear fender mount brackets, and fire aparatus is incomplete. The "new tank" was built with untreated mild steel and is already badly scaled inside. Bad body work from rear-wheel fenders-to-body seams. Cab roof has several unfilled holes which are leaking into the cab. I have a whole roll of film on this truck. This isn't even a $10K truck, although the engine sounds okay. Compare this to thefull operational Black Forest Fire Truck ($15K) and you'll begin to see what we're talkin' about here. I told Andy all this when I went to see it. If you deal with this guy, keep Bruce Fricke in mind. He's a junk dealer with no knowlage of PW'S, just fishin' for top $. Buyer Beware!
