Well, it is a '78 that is getting converted from its present single shifter status to dual, independent levers to give a 2-Lo configuration.

Should come in real handy for backing my 27-ft. RV trailer into those "camping" spaces; it works out to a roughly 64-to-1 overall reverse ratio: NP435 8:1 x NP205 2:1 x 4:1 rear axle!

Thanx for the info; I wonder what type of non-trick round stock I should use? Those "S" offsets I'm having to use are pretty dramatic turns.
