All of the Power Wagons that I have seen over the past 30 years, that still had their original paint (with black fenders), also had black cowl and headlight buckets. I believe one could order a PW painted all one color beginning in about 1955 for an additional cost. I had one late 50's W300M that was originally painted all Nile Green including cowl and headlight buckets, interior door panels, and kick panels. I have never personally ran across a truck with a grill originally painted anything other than matching body color. I know many people restore their trucks with black grills but I haven't inquired as to their original color. Check the radiator side of the grill. This should have some remnants of the trucks first paint. Hope this helps.
