I was discussing with a machine shop the possiblily of making axles splined on both ends explaining that becuz of the offset diff and low end torque and being a tad weak from the factory our axles suffer breakage now and then, he said he could make them and to bring in the ole shafts to copy them
what he did say was that the metal they used was on the factory axles is(was) to brittle and now they have alloys that can flex more without breaking and he can get some round stock cut and spline
