there is debate about the upper bearing. I have read and heard over the years that there is a reason the upper bushing is not a bearing. if you use your truck off highway frequently the upper can fail under those kinds of loads. Also the upper does not stay lubricated as well as the lower and bronze is self lubricating to some degree. if all you do is drive on pavement then it would probably never be an issue. I run bushings on my trucks.
