This is in response to the windshield frame reproduction question in Dan Ms thread about hood hinge repair. One of the guys from the 39-47 Dodge truck posted this about a month ago. There was a photo sent along with it but I cant find it
"E-mailed N/C Industries in PA yesterday asking if they were reproducing the
39-47 Truck Windshield. A Gentleman named Robert e-mailed me back with pic's of
the windshield. The cost is $850.00. It looks real good and appears to be made
of Stainless steel, but I could be wrong."
My VC-15 had an aluminum frame on it. I no longer have it but I do remember it being similar to a window channel that was formed to fit. Seemed simple enough to make if you could find a channel that fit the gasket??
