Every time I've tried mine, it leaks between the cover adapter and the master cylinder case. The latest time was today, I started bleeding the brakes on the 46 PW. I started with the clutch, figured it had the best chance of the Motive Power Bleeder working correctly as it had a simple one reservoir round case, and the bleeder cover was stiffer and stronger looking than the one that fits the GM MC.

As everything is new clean paint, I took some precautions. I taped a plastic bag to the MC and covered the truck body and all areas. The only holes in the bag were for the bleeder cover chain clamps. Well, while bleeding the clutch, I could suddenly see through the floor opening that the fluid was starting to leak!

Yikes, I quickly stopped and released the pressure and garbed some rage. There was a puddle of fluid in the plastic bag (~ two eggs worth), and the only place fluid had hit the truck was on the brake line where it was coming out of the bag. I was able to pull the bag off with out dumping the fluid and save the paint.

The plastic covers seem to be too flimsy with too hard a rubber to seal completely, and as a result the fluid leaks between the cover and the case.

So I DO NOT recommend these types of bleeder!
