The one guy at $19,000 is way out of line. I do have a trailer, and they are a real dog. I weighed my combo and I am at 48,000 lb.s.
The trailer is nice, but so darned heavy, you would not be able to do anything on the highway with it.
You should be able to get a nice truck in the $10,000 to $12,000 range. You have to remember that these trucks are getting a year older each year, and the M-900 series are now being released. I have purchased 2 M-900 cargos, and have had them ready to go to work in the $10,000 range.
I was using bridge trucks at first, and a guy in CA at Gene Autrey's old Melody Ranch was sitting on a bunch of them and was about $5,000 over market. I bet he is still sitting on them.
No, I have not seen any for sale lately.
