I bought mine a new Honda CRF250R & all the gear & she races with me! :):)
She's actually doing very well & I think she might love it as much as me. She races in the womens class & other than a couple of eager youngsters...she usually comes in the top 5.
It's actually a way safer sport than most realize. When's the last time you heard of anyone dying or critically injured racing in amature motocross? I mean our female Olympic gold medal freestyle skier died yesterday in Utah...I really don't see it as a life threatening sport.
Bumps, bruises & broken bones...sure but no more than mountain bike riding.
You have to live life like you may die tomorrow because, heck...I might!
