Both use the 7 1/2 foot Utiline bed in 1958.

The 108" WB W100 uses a 6 1/2 foot Utiline bed.

I have had people measure their W100s and had the wheelbase (on a frame that was never messed with) measure as little as 113" but I am not sure if that is something to do with the axle shifting over time, the way the truck was built, or something else like human error.

I've never tried to rebuild the spring packs on a W100 or W200 that had the axle more shifted in the wheel well, it is just a theory on my part that bringing all the parts back to stock would correct the really gross axle shift. Many of those trucks have the axle slightly off-center in the wheel well (or to look at it the other way round, the wheel well poorly centered on the wheel) but some are much worse than others.

Does anyone have any practical experience with this wheel well vs axle alignment?

Eric
