The 108" WB was unique to the W100.

The 116" WB was shared by both the W100 and the W200.

The late 1958 116" WB W100 (with the full floating axle) and the 1958 116" WB W200 were nearly the same truck, with just the springs being different (and of course the 200 tags). Maybe there was something subtle that changed that I missed, but I have owned a couple and looked at many and I don't remember anything else. The basic frame, cab, bed, axles, everything was the same for those few months from what I have seen.

The axle thing you are talking about with the W100s (I think W200s suffer from it as well sometimes) is a weird thing that seems to be true for PGs. I think it is wear or time that causes the wheels to no longer line up with the wheel wells.
