I can see this thread could get ugly real quick. Before we start calling each other names, maybe we should ask ourselves as individuals a few questions:
1) Are we there fighting the war, or are we here at home safe and away from it?
2) Is it really anyone else's business? The way I see it is that the situation is between the individuals and their commanders - at least for the short term. Later on, it may be between them and their maker.
3) Are not the real culprits here the media? Seventy years ago if the media had access to this information they certainly would have had the common sense to NOT report on it.
