So the windshield rubber I got from Roberts doesnt fit right. He said they've never had problems with them before, no one has ever complained.
So I ordered one from Vintage, and low and behold almost the same problem.
It seems like the frame is too wide, like when the rubber hooks to the frame, if its moved the slightest bit, it pops right back out. And this one from Vintage almost seems a little too oversized. Like after gong all the way around the frame, theres a little bunched up at the end.
Is it possible to have a different windshield frame? That maybe these rubbers arent made for?
Or, does the rubber need to be put in with adhesive?
Vaughn, still waitin for the parts to come back from Steven. I have classes for the next three or four weeks, so Ill get ahold of ya when I get back.
