I will have the tires measured, but it does seem like 82" on the inner width of the trailer should be ok.

I have a 14,000 pound trailer that is 16' long that I pull with my 88 F-250/7.3L and 4.10 gears. Seems to go ok, but does not get anywear fast... I pull my tractors that weigh 6,000-8,000 pounds all the time.
