You got that right. We had snow just before thanksgiving, and one windy rainstorm just before Christmas, but other than that ... no weather. It's been 30-35 degrees and "partly" all the rest of the time. I fired up both sno-cats optimistically after Christmas to make sure they were ready to go when the snow arrived, but it didn't. Ended up just driving an M37 up in the hills as far as we could go with no chains for a consolation prize.
So much for the el nino predictions. The one good thing is it's saving a lot on the heating bills. I've got one building with a 1.3 million BTU/hr boiler and this time of year I'm usually looking at a $2000 gas bill. It'd be nice to get some real snow, though. Don't need a week of sub-zero weather, but 25 degrees and a few feet of snow on the ground would be nice. Not sure who I put in the request to, though. Next year we'll probably get buried.
