down below you asked if anyone wondered why American steel is better than japanese steel. I am wondering. is it? seems like it is in most cases. I worked in the exhaust biz on and off for years till about 99 and they switched form americam tubing, to japanese tubing to korean tubing. the american stuff never had problems. the japanese stuff would crinkle at the worst time while beinding. the korean stuff would crinkle and sometimes actuly split on the seam in a bend! that was so frustrating trying to get that stuff to work sometimes. most the time it was all good but it just would not want to do certian things the old US tubing would do.
