There were a few options for tires and wheels on the 70 W200. Mine came with the 16" split ring wheels and 7.50x16 tires. I have no issue with running these tires again in bias ply with tubes but a few people had suggested that they switched over to radial tubes and tires and used 235/85R/16's with no problems. Supposedly the ride and handling were better over the old bias ply tires. I was just curious as to whether you thought this was a safe option. I'll do some more research.
