If what you received from VPW is regular wind lace (round foam covered with vinyl), then that is not the correct seal for the bottom of the doors and would be too thick. The correct seal is flat on one side with a curved out side that flexes when the door is closed/opened.

Metro Moulded Parts, part# LP104B is close to the original part.
