bottom door seals

Hi, everyone and Merry Christmas to all. I have a '45 civilian pickup and need to seal up the bottom of the doors. I got what VPW sent me and it's just a piece of windlacing with the little clips. It is too big to fit, the door wont close. What have you done to stop the draft of cold air? Thanks for the help.
