It sits on the original '84 W350 crewcab frame. We used the diesel radiator support, dash, wiring harness, heater, AC, etc. We used the transmission crossmember from the '92 diesel It all bolts together. The only thing we had to fab was the fuel sending unit. Through experience, we learned to remove the sock filter in the tank and make a bracket on which to hang the '92 fuel gage sending unit.
We also used the stock frame under the Rancharger we converted. In that case, the Ramcharger frame is not as tall as the 3/4-ton diesel frame, so we had to alter the transmission crossmember in order to get the driveline angle right.
