Vaughn, do you know whether or not a earlier trans stick will transplant to a 420 trans? I only ask because I put my 58 420 stick in a 420 top from a m37, then put the top in the 58 ffpw trans. at that time there was a fellow selling them (tops) for thirty bucks on ebay, still in the wrapper. if the earlier stick will go in the m37 trans then the problem will be over.
