Flathead six, runs well. Oil bath air cleaner, four speed trans, single speed transfer case, Warn hubs, 12 volts, civilian cab (may have been an open cab originally?), steel cargo bed from a WWII Chevrolet 1.5 ton, Gar Wood hoist from a 2.5 ton CCKW. PTO drives the hydraulic dump bed. 11 inch brakes with new wheel cylinders, re-sleeved original master cylinder, plenty of brake material. Parking brake holds on hills. Key start. Original radiator. Six half-ton Budd wheels, seventh wheel is from a 3/4 ton. Duallies. Fuel filler hole on cab is nicely filled, the cowl vent was welded shut in 1946, filled. No rust to speak of.

Frame was altered to adapt the dump bed. Dump bed works great. This truck has clearance lights on the cab, bed and rear. Turn signals work (cowl mounted), all other lights work. Horn works, gauges all work, speedo dial needs a new clear disc, odometer works. No heater. One electric wiper, new upholstery. New door windows, channels and sweeps. Original gas tank in good condition, mounted on right side.

Collector Vehicle plate. No more tab fees in Washington State. Title issued to a Plymouth Engine number, not the frame number. Title has been this way since 1946 when the truck was put into civilian service.

New windshield seal, POR 15 on it's frame, which is in pretty good shape. Crank mechanism works. Good mirrors. Black semi gloss catalyzed urethane paint, use as is or paint it OD if you want a military look. I did not want to make it too shiny, kind of the wrong look for this truck. Be the only one on the block, or in the country with a truck like this. Personal inspection encouraged. Was used as a farm tractor since 1974 and parked in an equipment shed. I have used only non ethanol fuel in this truck, to keep all the fuel system seals, o-rings and diaphragms from melting away.

This would be a great farm truck, snow plow, dump runner. I would like to see someone carry on with this rig.

State of Washington title is in my name.
