I can't imagine why any company would keep an incandescent light bulb plant in the US now that the US government has banned incandescent light bulbs. First to go will be 100 watt bulbs, starting in 2012. Then each year thereafter more wattages will be banned. Congress recently had a vote on rescinding the ban but it didn't pass.
Better stock up while you can, especially if you have fixtures that the spiral bulbs won't fit in, or you like to use dimmers, or you use a light bulb to keep your pump house from freezing in the winter.
