it doesn;t really matter how good the gasket is because the system is a zero pressure system. The radiator is so big, the fan pulley is small and results in very high fan speed at low rpms, that there is no need to have a pressurized system. There was an optional 2 lb cap with overflow tank for extemely hot conditions but in most cases unnecesary. modern pressurized caps are for vehicles with small radiators that need the prssure to raise the boiling point. ONe thing on a Dodge Power Wagon forum you will almost nver hear is "my truck is overheating" ;/)
