About grounding
WHen I rebuilt Kirkwood, I made several grounds. The stock one to the generator bracket from the battery, cab to frame, engine to frame, gas tank sender to frame and bed to frame.
Even then, I had trouble with the Dennan overdrive working properly. Turned out I needed to ground it to the frame too, as it was mounted in rubber tranny mounts. SO I learned that more grounding is best.
