Every civilian job has its hazards, risks, and deaths’; mining is known to be most dangerous. For those working in their professions they are more acutely aware of those dangers than other folks, until a major event occurs that makes headline news and brings National attention. All along the way of a resource turning into a product and getting to market are deaths associated with it and when we power up that cell phone, we don’t see the faces of those that may have perished to bring it to our hand, and unfortunately don’t give to much thought to it either. We tend to focus mainly on those things in our lives and usually don’t go too much beyond that.
