What I've done in the past, is this....some will disagree, but years of experience has worked without fail. Take the trans cover off, take the top of the trans off. Drain the 90wt gear oil out, fill it with diesel fuel. Take your air compressor and set it to about 5 psi, with a fitting in the end of the hose that will allow air to flow through, unrestricted. Set the hose to the botom of the trans, and let it bubble for about an hour or two. It's like putting the trans in a parts cleaner, without damaging the seals. Move the hose around once in awhile for different movement of the fluid through the body of the trans. Flush it out, and maybe do it again, if you get alot of crap out the first time. Fill it back up with fresh oil and close it up. Has worked well alot of times for me, but, if you see alot of metal come out the drain (look at the old oil closely, run you fingers through it) it's time to take the trans out and really go through it. Hope this helps.....chris
