There is a answer if you want to keep the classic budd look and pattern, go to Pirate4x4 and get one of the unimog custom machine shops to make hubs in the ffpw pattern for a 406 419 1300 series umimog, they already come with disc brakes and in all of the high horsepower rock crawlers, they have factory built in locking diffs, no need to make purse out of a sows ear with old ffpw axles trying to update one end while still leaving the insides stock, start off with a umimog axle and just get custom 5 bolt hole hubs, way way cheaper too, those axles dont bring over $1500 each, add custo ffpw hubs and weld up some brackets and instant portals, $10,000 each for a axle that guy was promoting are not going to sell ever,,, heck even hummer portal axles can have new bhp ffpw hubs made and installed to keep the budd look??
