When we were putting the cab on, cuz i didnt have a way to do it here at home, we brought the chassis to the paint shop and loaded the cab with the chassis still on the trailer.
It was somewhat rushed cuz the paint guy wanted to get back to something more inportant than my stuff. So the cab scratched the steering column. No scratches on the cab until the drives home. We had two two by fours on end under the front cab to keep it solid. Well that created a back tilt, and the knob on the stick shift rubbed a spot on the dash down to bare metal.
Oh well, maybe Ill put the switch for the red light thats gonna go on the roof in that spot so i dont hafta deal with the paint shop anymore. Bad enough hes still got my fenders, radiator cowl, radiator supports and doors.
