How is everything? Getting ready for winter? It's starting to cool down a lot here, but no snow yet.
You are right on your advice to Nick about hurrying. Even when you aren't hurrying, it's still possible to do something dumb. Last week Les (the guy who painted my truck) and I were adjusting the cab to make the hood fit better. I had the hood propped up so I had room to see what I was doing. I was prying up on the corner of the cab so Les could slip a shim between the cab and the block. He says: "Just a little higher", and when I forced down on the bar a little more, the prop slipped off the bracket. Down comes the hood on my head, but worse, the corner of the hood hit the cowl and put a big scrape in it. Les says: "How's your head? Paint can be fixed". Nice philosophical attitude, I thought. Of course I've always had a hard head and I've been hit there with bigger things that that hood, so I was more worried about the paint. Jerry
