That's a slick site, and it sounds like a slick machine, but there's one thing about that company that completely turned me off. They do not list any prices! They have lots of pictures of their machines and lots of words about how great they are, but nowhere is there a price list. They offer a "brochure" but to download it, you have to give them an email address. I do not want to get onto any more spam lists. When I entered a made-up email address, it gave me a talking page with an announcer telling me to check my email for the confirmation link in order to get fully registered so I could download their brochure (and then presumably see some pricing information).

A company that markets itself this way is first of all arrogant because it assumes I want their products so badly that I'm willing to jump through a bunch of hoops just to get their brochure, which a more professional company would be delighted to give me for free. Secondly, the lack of pricing information tells me that they are afraid I won't be interested if I know how much it costs, but if only they can get me to call them on the phone then they can make their pitch and have me convinced of how wonderful it is by the time they're finally forced to divulge the price.

It reminds me of the guys who advertise trucks but don't want to send pictures or answer questions (including sometimes basic things like the price) unless I'm "serious about buying". How the hell do I know if I'm serious about buying until I've seen it and I know what you want for it? It would be like a clothing store saying "Don't touch the clothes or ask about the price unless you intend to buy them."

These may seem like petty points, but taken together they say "rinky-dink desperate homebrew inventor garage shop" to me, and not in a good way. If you're in business and you think you have to play games with potential customers in order to trick them into buying your product, how good can it really be? I notice that the one thing they do give a price on is $495 for 10 hours of after-sales telephone tech support. That might be worth it, or it might be their way of saying that customers get zero tech support unless they pay for it. No thanks.
