So I just measured my 19.5 wheels on my 1963 W300.

On the inside from the edge of the rim to the inside center that mates against the drum is 7". The outside face of the sidewall of the 8X19.5 tire sits 1/2" out beyond the center face of the rim. Definitely not a dual set up.

Maybe an offset outer wheel. AAA will probably know the answer
