friend had a chevy Typhoon (souped up 4x4) stolen in Hoboken NJ. local cops couldnt find it.Insurance company didnt care and wanted to cut a check which wouldnt cover replacement even if you could find a Typhoon . buddy hired a private dective who found the Typhoon buried in the back of a Jersey City impound yard covered with a tarp. amazingly the impound yard had no record of truck in its inventory. Jersey is a cesspool of corruption.
