Found pics of my first PW, help with pics?

My sister in law scanned the pics in. The pics all l,ook huge in my email. But she didn't crop. Now the pics all have huge white areas, counting in the pixels but the pics are dinky.

Can I 'copy' to photoshop , crop, and send back to 'my pics' ?
