OK. If it is the old T handle control then the problem is with the contact inside of the control box. First make sure that the control box/joy stick has a good ground. Inside the control handle box is a copper contact that applies a ground to the solenoid that supplies power to the pump motor. It only applies the ground when you lift or angle the plow. The old joy sticks or T handles are simple and rugged just like an old Power Wagon. I will see if I still have a old service manual.
