Headlights were working fine until today. Low beams both went out at the same time. Switched to high beams and they work. Measured voltage at terminals and get 12.5v on both low and high beams when switching. Checked both bulbs and the low beam filaments are out. Measuring voltage at each lamp socket shows 12.5v for each circuit when switching back and forth with dimmer. The only thing I can think of was a voltage spike which the solid state regulator missed. Is there anything else that would blow both bulbs?
