Law of supply and demand. One of the main reasons, I believe, that M37s have not appreciated in market value like the classic civilian pickups is regular sales like this. The feds let local governments and fire departments have these when they started replacing them in the military--but with clauses that required them to return them when not used anymore. Then our faithful, cost conscious national government keeps releasing them often enough to allow many of us to enter the hobby for cheap.
It's then that we start getting a real education.
