I hear you Jonas! It F'n P's me off to no end about all the people leaching off the various systems. If you need it you need it but there are so many people out there taking from the system. I stand in line at the grocery store and someone will be talking on their Iphone in line and then pay for their food with the various welfare programs out there. If you cant afford to buy your own food you dont need a fancy smart phone either. My neighbor lady whos single just had a baby (aka knocked up) and she was talking about how much the forumla costs to buy and that she couldnt feed the baby without the Wick program Kansas has to buy milk stuff. All the while she smokes cigarettes line they are going out of style. Can spend 150$ a month on smokes but cant buy her baby forumla.
You talk to a liberal out there ( I have a friend who is one) and all these people out there are poor people who have had unfortunate things happen to them and they need these programs and its our duty to provide for them.
I understand people fall under hard times. Especially in these economic times. You could get hurt at work and be off work for a year and end up in this situation very easy. Have a car wreck where you couldnt work. The law and lawyers drag their ass thru the court system before you could ever get any $$$.
You need to do what you got to do to survive. That means maybe selling some of your stuff and getting out of your 3500sq foot house. I would have told them exactly what I think about it.
