This truck performed great. We drove almost 300 miles on the rally over some really rugged and steep mountains. Only problems were charging system wouldn't charge and the heater core leaked. We swapped the battery into Keith's truck to charge it until we got to the cabins and hooked it up to Tim's charger. We shut off the heater return and bypassed the heater altogether to stop the coolant leak. Topped off the radiator with water and coolant and away we went. Not bad for a truck that sat idle since 1980-81. Very impressive!
