WOW this is a hard one to answer. OK did the truck run that way before, Do you have clean fuel,new fuel filter, Hows the fuel pump, Ignition parts. Make sure the choke is open all the way. The Fuel mixture screw with not cause this problem at this RPM, thats why its called idle mixture screw. Also make sure you have good rubber fuel hoses at any of the connections. One last thing, On the Carb, there is one shop that I have used for Carb rebuild, Treadwell Carb of NY. None Better, You can talk to the person the does the work. Send them a unit that is worn out and it comes back like new. Install it and thats it. I have seen other places and the carbs have problems right out of the box. Good Luck. Bill
