I have a 4bt conversion I have been working on. It has a hydroboost, and a saginaw box. I have followed the proper pressure line plumbing, and reviewed it with several online sources. The hydroboost is a rebuilt unit, and I just put a rebuilt box in. I seem to have great pedal. I am wondering if I over extended the push rod, when I lengthend it, if that would have an effect on the flow to the ps box. The pedal only requires a touch and I have brakes. I have also turned the wheel while the truck was off, very slowly, many times. I have not put a guage on the pressure line yet. However, I drove the bread truck before I pulled the motor and the pump seemed to be working fine. I may have had it dry during this at some time. Do you think my good pedal is from just a great bleed on my brake system, and not related to my hydroboost. Is the potentialy too long brake actuator shaft affecting this ps issue. Is my pump shot.
