It's admirable that you are not only owning one at your age, but driving it as well. I can remember vividly being 16 and under the hood of my buddy's '55 Chevy at around two in the morning, with no flashlight, in the pouring down rain, filing and re-gapping points. The other kids at school never got it as to why we drove old "junk" and pretty much looked down at us. I wouldn't trade those cars, those mishaps or those memories for anything of theirs. Almost 20 years later, the newest thing I own is a '72 Dart, and my daily driver is my '50 Power Wagon. Little incidents like that are setbacks, yes. But you learn much more about yourself, other people, and will learn to appreciate those little bumps in the road.
