The 324 cu. in. straight eight is 9 inches longer than the 230. It produces 135 hp and 265 lb-ft of tourque.
Here's a photo that illustrates what it would look like with the hood and running boards stretched to accompdate such a motor.
I have a straight-eight installed in my stretched WC59 test chassis. The hard part is done, but it hasn't rolled out of the garage yet.
