I have been thinking about doing the same conversion to my W500. Lost a front flex line a few years ago and have been a bit scared about having that happen on the road with the single master. Did not know there was a 'factory correct mod', would be interested in learning more about that.
Glad to hear you are doing well and keeping busy. I have been doing my best to keep out of trouble up here as well.
