As mentioned earlier, I replaced the fuel filter and confirmed gas flow.

Now I have started looking at the electrical side. The points looked good, no peak and valley, but I put a piece of 200 wet/dry sand paper between them and cleaned them up. This made no difference, it kicks once and that is it.

I will get a new condensor and install that but the engine on this truck is way harder to work on compared to my 48 Plymouth. I had never had a condensor fail until my 50 Ferguson stopped running. I replaced the condensor on that and it started immediately...in this case, I had read on a Ferguson forum that recent condensors from China failed early....turned out to be true.

I do have a spare 251, but it is 6 volt version. Are the condensors the same? I haven't tried getting the parts I need (cap, rotor, coil, points) but thought they may not be readily available. I guess Vintage should have it all.
