It was found by a friend of mine in a garage near Detroit and belonged to a retired engineer from TACOM. He purchased it and brought it home to Mio, MI where he played with it for a year or so. He eventually had his eye on another vehicle and traded it to another collector near Saginaw who owned all four of the known XM410 vehicles then. When this collector retired and moved he sold off much of his collection including the XM410's, including this one to the person who has it listed. Another was sold to a surplus store owner near me, along with the remains of third. I believe he still has some major chassis parts in storage. The surplus store owner sold his mostly complete vehicle to a major corporation, Nike, I believe, who is using it in modified form for promotional purposes.
