Today I tried a small piece of wood in my glass beed cabinet. The wood is off my side rails of the Ben Hur trailer. Looks like it is going to work. It is only going to be painted olive drab again. No fancy varnish here, just wanted to clean up 50years of paint. Trailor will be going to Virginia in July. Love working on this old stuff. I think it talks to me as I work on it. It has lots of storys to tell. It is a piece of history. All of this Dodge stuff needs to be cared for .
