I looked at the NV site recently but there are no specs for the 205. What's the difference in function internally between 4hi and 4lo on the 205? Specifically I'm curious whether being in 4 (lo or hi) implies the locking of both front and rear drivelines together, or if the xfer case acts as a differential in 4hi.
The reason I ask is I finally got the opportunity to actually use 4 wheel drive for the first time and I had trouble getting up the driveway in the snow in 4hi, once in 4lo it was a piece of cake.
If you know where I can find a 205 spec online that would be great.
