Not sure what you are asking. The winch is driven by the engine via the tranny. Most Dodges have the winch in IN or Out and the PTO either Forward, Neutral or Reverse. The winch speed is regulated by the engine RPM. The PTO can be used indepentdent of the tranny (on the Dodge). The PTO is not synchro'd to the tranny and is best engaged at low RPMs.
